You’ll Love These Inspiring Coworking Spaces in Canggu, Bali (Perfect for Digital Nomads)

After spending over a month living that dreamy Bali island life, hopping from café to café with my laptop in tow, I’ve discovered some real coworking gems in Canggu that I absolutely must share with you! Yes, I’ve tried the popular spots like ZIN and BWork (because, of course I did), but let’s be honest—sometimes you just want to avoid the crowds and skip those overpriced day passes.

So here are some coworking-friendly cafés and coworking spaces in Canggu that I personally visited, loved, and would totally recommend if you’re looking for a chill yet productive remote work experience.

📍 BWork

This is the hotspot for digital nomads in Canggu. It’s definitely on the pricier side for Bali (a one-day pass is 280K IDR), but the vibe? Worth it. Think clean, beautifully designed workspaces, fast-ish Wi-Fi, air-conditioned zones, and lots of like-minded creatives around you. I even ended up watching a movie there after work—it was that comfy!

What makes BWork extra special is its community. It’s not just a coworking space; it’s a full-on ecosystem. There’s a rooftop yoga studio, an on-site café, a small gym, and a calendar full of workshops, networking events, and talks. One day there, I witnessed so many passionate discussions and brainstorming sessions—it really made me want to get more done.

✅ Best for: Serious workers with heavy tech setups, people needing private meeting rooms, and those looking to connect with locals and fellow nomads.

✅ Facilities: AC in every corner, private booths, phone rooms, and even lockers. There’s also a non-member area where you can sit and work for 90 minutes just by buying a coffee (though Wi-Fi there is a bit meh).

✅ Bonus: Daily yoga classes with a sunset view—yes please! Some classes are even free for daily pass holders. For walk-in customers, the class is not free and priced at 15 SGD / 12 USD.

✅ Cost: 280K/day just for workspace and Wi-Fi. Food and drinks are extra, but reasonably priced, around ~12 SGD / 9 USD for a good meal. They also offer off-peak memberships (4pm-10am) and weekly/monthly plans if you’re staying longer.

📍 Tropical Nomad Coworking Space

This was my go-to spot during my first two weeks in Canggu. Slightly more affordable than BWork and a bit smaller, but it’s full of tropical vibes and friendly faces. They also offer two-hour free Wi-Fi with any food or drink purchase if you’re not looking to commit to a day pass.

What I really loved was the open courtyard—it’s technically part of the café, so you can sit there without a pass and still get work done. It’s a smart setup (clearly made by techies): buy a coffee, get Wi-Fi. Buy a pass, get 24-hour access. Simple and clever!

They also host fun weekly events. I joined a public speaking workshop, took a Bahasa Indonesia crash course, and even attended a Friday social dinner. Such a great way to meet people if you’re travelling also.

📍 Tribal Bali

This one’s a game changer: Bali’s first coworking hostel! I stayed for 24 hours and honestly didn’t want to leave. You don’t even need a membership to use the space, which makes it super flexible. They’ve got everything from whiteboards and meeting pods to standing desks and—wait for it—an infinity pool and a pink pool table.

The vibe is ultra chill. People walk around barefoot, take Zoom calls with a coconut in hand, and wear swimsuits while writing pitch decks. It’s peak nomad life. Most guests are solo travelers, and it’s insanely easy to strike up a convo or share ideas.

But don’t be fooled by the laid-back attitude—people here hustle hard. I saw folks working late into the night, and even bumped into two people still on video calls at 3am. If you’re in a productivity slump, this place will definitely give you a boost.

If you’re planning a stay at Tribal Bali Coworking Hostel in Canggu, as of May 2025, here are the latest accommodation options and prices:

  • Mixed Dorm Room: Starting at IDR 200,000 per night, offering a budget-friendly option for solo travelers.
  • Private Deluxe Room: Priced around IDR 600,000 per night, suitable for those seeking more privacy and comfort.

Staying at Tribal includes unlimited access to their coworking space, eliminating the need for separate membership fees. For those not staying at the hostel, Tribal offers flexible coworking access:

  • First 3 Hours: Free with any food or drink purchase.
  • After 3 Hours: A minimum spend of IDR 100,000 is required.
  • After 6 Hours: A minimum spend of IDR 200,000 grants all-day access

📍Boheme

Want to work in peace surrounded by rice terraces? Boheme is your dreamy escape. It’s technically a boutique hotel, but you can just order a coffee and get full access to the pool area. Imagine taking Zoom calls poolside or sunbathing between meetings—yes, it’s as relaxing as it sounds.

It’s quieter than most coworking spaces, making it ideal for focused solo work. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and basically had the whole place to myself. Talk about productivity paradise!

If you are looking to stay at the boutique hotel, here is the latest rate as of May 2025:

  • Coliving Rates: Monthly stays range from IDR 8,100,000 to IDR 16,250,000, depending on room type and current promotions.
  • Daily Rates: Prices per night are between IDR 260,000 and IDR 535,000.

📍 ZIN Cafe

Now this one’s a full-blown digital nomad playground: hotel, café, gym, and spa all rolled into one. I stayed at ZIN for two nights and practically lived in the café. The co-working area has both AC and open-air zones, comfy bamboo seating, strong Wi-Fi, and the best part? No minimum spend required to stay the whole day.

Breakfast features wholesome brunch dishes made with organic ingredients—think avocado toast, smoothie bowls, and a selection of desserts that are both delicious and healthy.

You can literally spend your entire day here—grab breakfast (hello, smoothie bowls!), crank out a few hours of work, then head out for a sunset surf. It’s just 3 minutes from the beach!

The hotel itself is super Instagrammable—think bamboo villas and tropical gardens. Oh, and guests get a free cocktail every day. What’s not to love?

ZIN Canggu Resort & Villas offers a variety of accommodation options to suit different preferences and budgets. As of May 2025, the prices for each room type are as follows:

  • Deluxe Teak Room with Balcony / Deluxe Bamboo Room / Junior Suite: IDR 2,492,000 per night.
  • Private Pool Teak Villa: IDR 3,000,000 per night.

These rates include amenities such as air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, smart TV, minibar, and access to shared pools

📍Seaweed Resto

Last but not least, Seaweed Resto is right by Old Man’s Beach, and working here with an ocean view? Absolute dream. I loved typing away on my laptop while watching surfers ride the waves—it gave me just the right amount of background distraction.

One tip: sit further inside if you’re staying long, because that Bali sun can be intense. And don’t leave without trying their pasta—it was surprisingly delicious!

If you’re planning a workation in Bali, especially in Canggu, these coworking spots offer the perfect balance of productivity and play. Whether you’re into yoga breaks, social events, or just want to sip a coconut while smashing deadlines, there’s something here for every kind of digital nomad.

Happy coworking — and don’t forget to pack your swimsuit and your laptop!
